Minor setback

   I was trying to escape it, but I couldn't. I guess I should say "didn't". But I finally got it... the stomach virus that is going around. I was in a mine field over here. With everyone in my family catching this illness, I was a goner. But I held on tough, to no avail. Oh well, just a minor setback!
   I'm not going to use it as an excuse or milk it for all it's worth. The only thing with this virus, other than you don't feel like eating anything, is that you feel like doing nothing! I mean nothing, like exercise. So I ate a little something, just to keep up my strength. And my stomach immediately started doing backflips, but I thought, "Tough"! I'm not going to let some illness  get me down, or derail me on my weight loss way!
   Even though I didn't feel like doing much, this was the first day of going door to door with our new publication... The Town Sound! Sorry, I meant The Town Sound. As they say, the show must go on! I did a lot of driving around for my "crew", and even did some door to door myself. I've got to admit that I'm a little wiped out. But I'm determined to keep on my way of losing this weight of mine! I'm not going to let anything stop me this time! Not even a stomach virus with all it's weapons... just a minor setback.
