It was time to weigh in again this morning, since it is Wednesday. I've decided to weigh-in once a week, as opposed to twice a week. To tell you the truth, I was a little scared to weigh in Sunday. It seemed that I was losing no weight, and coming off that virus, I didn't have much energy. Fears of even gaining weight, after that great 16 pound loss in my first week, were in the back of my mind. How many times have I started out losing weight, only to slowly gain it back? Too many times, that's how many!
Okay, enough already, what did the scale say? 272 pounds. That's it? Only 2 pounds in one week? Oh no, is this the second week jinx? I don't believe so. Whatever the scale says, it's just hard to keep losing the weight so fast. I think your body needs a chance to adjust to your new schedule.
Then I thought, wait, I just lost 18 pounds in two weeks! And the 16 pounds I lost in my first week are not coming back. It seems my body is already adjusted to my lighter self. I mean I feel no negatives, only positives, well, except for my pants... just kidding. I guess what I'm trying to say is the cup is half full... not half empty. It's all how you look at it. Eat good stuff (and not too much), drink plenty of water, exercise every day, and you will lose weight!
