At lunch time we were in the Labor Day parade line up so we had packed a picnic lunch of sandwiches (on our freshly homemade bread), veggies, and unsalted, low fat tortilla chips. Here you can see organic carrot sticks (we do fresh, organic foods whenever we can) and our tasty, garden tomatoes!
Rebekah whipped up a batch of peanut butter cookies so we had those for dessert. We make them just as anyone else would except no white flour (freshly ground whole wheat flour instead) and no sugar (not even in the peanut butter). We are big believers in 100% natural, unprocessed sweeteners so we use raw honey and naturally sweet fruit to sweeten any baked goods.
